Vanessa quickly picked up the DP lingo and concepts and assisted in pragmatic language groups and individual therapy while completing a full-time Masters program in Communication Disorders at Iona College. Vanessa graduated at the top of her class, earning the department medal for academic and clinical achievement.
Her specific clinical interests and expertise include: language and learning disabilities, pragmatic language deficits, Autism Spectrum disorders, and articulation disorders. Vanessa’s passion and clinical intuition are evident in her work with families and students, as is her ability to hook clients into the process of learning. Her deep understanding of the philosophy and foundational skills of our Dramatic Pragmatics methodologies from having been immersed in our practice for so many years, makes Vanessa an incredibly valued member of our clinical team.
