Jacklyn Marcello, M.S. CCC
Jacklyn Marcello obtained her Masters degree in speech and language pathology from Mercy College and is ASHA certified as well as obtaining her TSSL.
After graduating, Jacklyn worked in a NYC private practice, treating children with a variety of speech and language difficulties from neurogenic disorders to language and learning disorders.
Jacklyn joined our practice as a part-time SLP bringing her energy and passion to our center. Jacklyn's strength is her broad base of knowledge, and her ability to meticulously research and plan for each individual child with results-driven intervention. Jacklyn is well versed in therapeutic strategies ranging from early intervention for the preschooler to providing curriculum based therapy with the school age child. Her professionalism, easy going personality and strong clinical skills are what makes Jacklyn so well-respected by parents and professionals.
She also enjoys sharing her love of the field of speech pathology by supervising graduate students entering the field. Jacklyn's expertise and clinical experience extends to both individual and group therapy and a wide range of ages from preschooler, to children and adolescents with language and learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, apraxia of speech, language processing disorder, executive functioning difficulties, receptive and expressive language delays and articulation and phonological disorders.
